Aimee Bennett, a born and bred New Zealander moved from Rotorua to Wellington to follow her passion for design. I have recently completed my Bachelor of Design with Honours, majoring in Visual Communication Design at Massey University. As a designer, Aimee aims to create visual solutions that are simple yet impactful by using traditional design principles and systems. However, she is able to recognise when to push and test the boundaries to create a design that is strong and relevant. Aimee’s interests such as Rowing have taught her the importance of adaptability and discipline which she has then transferred to her visual practice using these attributes to generate the best possible outcome for a project.
